AT&T is offering its customers a chance to pre-order the much-awaited Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and will start  shipping the devices around October 1.

AT&T customers are in for a treat with a chance to pre-order Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and get their shipments around the beginning of October. AT&T, one of the leading U.S. carriers, overtook other carriers such as Verizon by bringing the Galaxy Note 3 for pre-orders exclusively for its customers. In an announcement made Friday, the company said that it would start shipping the Samsung's latest big screen smartphone around October 1, 2013 for customers who pre-order their device for $299.99 with a two-year agreement or go for AT&T Next for $35 per month.

The off-contract price of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is expected to be $700. AT&T customers can place their orders online and get a chance to grab their Galaxy Note 3 anytime next month. The carrier says it will start shipping "around October 1," so it may not arrive just on time but early bidders will get their hands on the device sooner than later.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 packs some of the most advanced features that a high-end smartphone can get. It boasts a 5.7-inch full HD Super AMOLED display with 13 megapixel rear facing camera with LED flash and 4x digital zoom. Under the hood, the Note 3 has got the latest hardware and uses a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset with 3GB of RAM and the Adreno 330 GPU. It runs on the latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

Samsung also detailed several functions of the S-Pen on the Galaxy Note 3's display during its Unpacked 2013 press event, Wednesday.

In addition, AT&T also announced that the Galaxy Gear smartwatch will also be launched in "the coming weeks." The Samsung smartwatch paired with the Galaxy Note 3 will add to the smartphone experience.

So if you are eager to purchase the new Galaxy Note 3 then here is your chance to pre-order the device on AT&T's website. But if you want to wait for the first reviews of the smartphone before shelling out your hard earned money, then you can wait for the device to launch in stores through different carriers.
