Police are still looking for boyfriend of Tali Lennox-Fruchtmann, daughter of singer Annie Lennox, after the couple's kayak capsized while kayaking in New York City's Hudson River on Saturday morning, E! reported.

The Dutchess County Sheriff's Office said that Lennox-Fruchtmann, 22, and her partner, Ian Jones, 32, were not wearing life vests and were separated once they were thrown into the water after the pair's kayak tipped over near the Staatsburgh State Historic Site. A passing vessel found and rescued Lennox-Fructmann, however Jones is still missing.

While Investigators are trying to determine what caused the kayak to capsize, Dutchess County Sheriff's Captain John Watterson believes the strong current of the river and alcohol may have played a role in the accident.

"The current in the Hudson River is very strong and we believe the current played a role in the kayak capsizing, and once the two got in the water it was difficult for them to stay together," Watterson said, according to People.

"Once the initial responding Deputies confirmed that Mr. Jones may still be in the water, Marine Patrols and Dive Teams from the Sheriff's Office and other agencies immediately responded to begin searching the river," he said, according to Entertainment Tonight.

"Mr. Jones has not been located, and the search is expected to be suspended sometime tonight. The size of the search area and the conditions on the river have made the search difficult up to this point, and both will be reevaluated tomorrow to determine if the search can continue."

At this point, the incident appears to be a boating accident and no foul play is suspected. Lennox-Fruchtmann was examined at the scene and did not require medical treatment and was on-hand for most of the first day as the search for Jones continued.

Lennox-Fruchtmamn, an artist, and Jones, a photographer and model by profession, have expressed their love for each other on social media.
