While the Boston Celtics may have a bit of a hard time getting their roster down to 15 guys because of their roster crunch they have not stopped looking to add players to their roster to come into training camp. The two latest guys they will reportedly be bringing in are Coty Clarke and Malcolm Miller, according to Sportando and Celticsblog.com.

This will give the Celtics 20 players that they are expected to bring into training camp and even though neither guy has a realistic shot of making the Celtics roster they will be auditioning for a spot in the D-League.

Clarke played his final two years of college at Arkansas from 2012 until 2014 and went undrafted in the 2014 NBA Draft. Clark spent last season playing professionally in Israel for Hapoel Kazrin where he averaged 19.7 points, 9.4 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game. Clarke didn't have anywhere near those type of numbers in college as he averaged 8.6 points and 5.4 rebounds per game while shooting 47 percent from the field and 44 percent from three. Clarke is a 6 foot-7 forward that has good size for the position and good rebounding ability so it is possible that he can make a name for himself in training camp and then after that the D-League.

Miller was a four year player at Holy Cross and went undrafted in the 2015 NBA Draft. Like Clarke, Miller is also a 6 foot-7 forward but Miller is looked at in NBA circles as someone who has a real chance because of his defensive potential. In his four years at Holy Cross Miller improved every season and although his shooting percentages were down his senior year he was still productive averaging 14.5 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game while making 44 percent of his field goals and 37 percent of his threes. Miller improved his perimeter shooting ability in his last two years on campus and now has the ability to potentially play small forward in the NBA.

Both players are very similar but it seems as though Miller is the more highly thought of pro prospect. It will be interesting to see if the Celtics have room for both of them in the D-League or if these two are competing against each other for one of those spots.
