Markieff Morris has not been a happy camper since the Phoenix Suns decided to trade his twin brother Marcus to the Detroit Pistons earlier this offseason. The Morris twins are very close to one another so much so that they have the same tattoos and share a bank account. When Marcus was traded Markieff was very unhappy and said that he also wanted to be traded but now it is being reported that he won't even talk to the organization or his teammates, according to ArizonaSports.com.

Marcus Morris was traded about a month ago for basically nothing as it was somewhat of a salary dump for Phoenix. After the trade Marcus expressed his frustration saying the Suns knew how bad he wanted to play with his brother and for him to be traded without consent or at least being told was a "slap in the face", according to ESPN.

In an attempt to be traded Markieff is now shunning anybody involved with the Suns organization as he attempts to force their hand to trade him. The Suns have said all along that they do not want to trade Morris after they just gave him a four year extension last season that starts this year. Morris will be paid $8 million a year over the next four seasons.

Trading Morris might not be that easy anyway as his contract is a bit hefty and he has been in legal trouble recently. Both Morris twins were charged with felony aggravated assault in April and have pleaded not guilty but they are still awaiting a trial.

On the court Markieff is the better player of the two twins and has gotten better each year he has been in the NBA. Morris will play next season at age 26 and is coming off a season in which he started all 82 games for the Suns and averaged 15.3 points and 6.2 rebounds per game while making 47 percent of his field goals and 32 percent of his three point attempts. At 6 foot-10 Morris is the prototypical stretch four and is a real asset to have.

The Suns have to decide what they want to do with Markieff as he is clearly unhappy and if he is kept he could cause a lot of trouble in Phoenix' locker room. It might be tough to find a trade partner for Morris but that might be the best plan of action for them even though he is a very good player. The fact that he refuses to talk to teammates or anyone in the organization might be a sign that his time in Phoenix is nearing its end but let's not forget he still is under contract with the Suns so if they don't trade him he will be playing unhappily for the team that traded his twin brother away.
