An alligator at Florida's Forever Florida bit off a "chunk" of an employee's thigh.

Sergio Hernandez, 46, was bitten by the alligator while removing hyacinths from a pond Tuesday at Forever Florida, a zipline and "eco-tourism attraction" in St. Cloud, Fla., according to Fox News.

Along with zipline tours, Forever Florida offers horseback riding and coach tours through various Florida ecosystems with a chance to encounter alligators, the Florida panther and other forms of wildlife. This possibility was mentioned in a Yelp review, according to the Huffington Post.

"Upon arriving, we had to of course sign this waiver that basically said: If you get injured, paralyzed, deathly ill, drop dead, get killed or eaten by a gator...they are NOT responsible," the review says.

Hernandez was taken to Holmes Regional Medical Center for his injuries.

Following the incident, officials from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission soon learned that the alligator involved in the attack didn't belong to Forever Florida's animal kingdom, according to the Examiner. Therefore, trappers were called on site to deal with the invasive reptiles.

The trappers found and removed two alligators: one that was 8.5 feet long and another that was 11 feet long.
