The Toronto Blue Jays are still going. Their latest acquisition before the MLB non-waiver trade deadline is an outfielder.

Toronto will receive Ben Revere from the Philadelphia Phillies, according to Todd Zolecki of MLB.com. The talks between the two clubs were first reported by Jim Salisbury of CSN Philly and Jon Heyman of CBS Sports. Conflicting rumors and reports embattled this potential deal today, but it's said Revere will be on his way to Toronto. It's unknown who the Phillies will get in return at this point.

Here's proof of the rollercoaster discussions between the Blue Jays and Phillies:

The Baltimore Orioles were another club in the mix for Revere, but they acquired Gerardo Parra from the Milwaukee Brewers, which pretty much took them out of the running.

Revere, 27, is batting .298/.334/.374 with 49 runs scored, 1 home run, 26 RBIs and 24 stolen bases in 96 games this season. He is signed through the 2017 season.

The Blue Jays also acquired right-handed reliever Mark Lowe from the Seattle Mariners in exchange for Nick Wells, Jacob Brentz and Rob Rasmussen, according to the team's official Twitter account.

We'll be keeping updates on this transaction.
