Khloe Kardashian is in for more drama and speculation about her marriage, as husband Lamar Odom officially hires famous OJ Simpson defense attorney for his DUI case.

Robert Shapiro, according to TMZ, will handle Odom's legal woes. On Aug. 30, the gossip site reported Odom was arrested by the L.A. County Sheriff's Department under suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs.

Officers at the scene reportedly smelled alcohol on Odom, but did not find any drugs or alcohol in the car. However, sources told TMZ his behavior was consistent with someone under the influence of both drugs and alcohol.

Odom hiring Shapiro may be a smart move on his part, according to the gossip site:

Shapiro is known for plea bargaining. These cases are pretty standard -- he'll probably plead no contest to one count of DUI and get probation. He'll also be required to attend an alcohol ed class. And, since he refused to submit to a blood-alcohol test, he'll automatically get his driver's license yanked for 1 year. No getting around that.

This has Kris Jenner's paw prints all over it. She's used Shapiro for other legal messes in the past -- most recently Robert Kardashian Jr.'s criminal battery and theft case.

Ironically, Kris' ex-hubby, the late Robert Kardashian, repped OJ Simpson along with Shapiro. Kris was best friends with Nicole Brown Simpson and felt OJ was guilty as sin.

The stress of the spotlight is reportedly taking a toll on Odom's wife, Khloe Kardashian. She's been recently tweeting, and deleting, her feelings on her official account.

Kardashian has not addressed any of the black cloud filled with divorce rumors lingering around her marriage. However, both Odom and Kardashian were recently spotted wearing their wedding rings, though many sites report the couple has separated. (SEE PHOTOS HERE)
