The Indianapolis Colts live and die with their offense. They finished the 2014 season ranked third in yards-per-game (406.6), sixth in points (28.6) and first in passing (305.9). As a result, Indy fell just a few plays short of the Super Bowl in a very successful season overall.

Fans and fantasy football owners know that T.Y. Hilton is Andrew Luck's go-to target, but he's entering the final year of his rookie contract and may be on his way out of Indy. As such, it wouldn't be a bad idea for the Colts to figure out what exactly they have in first-round rookie Philip Dorsett and 2014 third-rounder Donte Moncrief. One of them will win the No. 3 wide receiver job behind Hilton and free agent signee Andre Johnson this season.

"If the Colts don't succeed in taking the next step in 2015 (which, ostensibly, is reaching the Super Bowl), it won't be due to a lack of passing-game weapons," ESPN NFL Insider Field Yates wrote. "Consider this: With Dwayne Allen and Coby Fleener forming a one-two punch at tight end and T.Y. Hilton and Andre Johnson leading the way at receiver, the Colts will likely rely on a reasonable amount of 12-personnel (two tight ends, two receivers on the field) and, perhaps, plenty of 11-personnel (one tight end, three receivers) sets. That means that one of Dorsett and Moncrief seems likely to spend more time on the sideline than their talents suggest. Dorsett, a first-round pick, feels like the safe bet to earn third-receiver reps. That comes with some upside given how prolific the Colts' passing attack was last season, and the fourth wideout probably is relegated to fantasy irrelevance barring an injury. But it won't be an indictment of his skills - this offense is loaded."

Moncreif caught 32 passes for 444 yards and three touchdowns last season. Dorsett figures to be a deep threat early on with his 4.33 40-yard dash time. But as Yates mentioned, both WRs will be playing behind Johnson, who figures to see an uptick in production catching passes from Luck despite his age (34). Still, whoever wins the No. 3 job is worth some fantasy consideration in this high scoring offense.
