A sloth in Nicaragua proved that humans aren't the only ones fond of self portraits.

Adorable footage taken by a group of tourists shows a slot that appeared to be taking a selfie while climbing a tree, Fox News reported.

The sloth was curious upon seeing the video camera. It moved towards it and put its face up while reaching out to put its arms around the back of the gadget. The result is like a "sloth selfie"!

The animal is seen twitching its nose on the lens while holding the sides of the camera. There was even a moment when both its arms are seen stretched as if it was really taking a selfie, the Daily Mail noted.

A couple is seen in the video watching the sloth getting curious with the camera. The man is laughing while the woman waved at the sloth on the tree.

Sloths are known as slow-moving animals and would always hang upside down, which may manifest that the animal is hanging from the tree while examining the camera.
