Kelly Price and her husband Jeffrey Rolle are getting a divorce after 23 years of marriage.

On Thursday, the 43-year-old singer announced that she'd be divorcing Rolle, who is also her manager. The two will also be ending their professional relationship.

"After the untimely death of my sister last year, it weighed on me heavily that this was something we needed to do," Price told Always A-List. "I ultimately made the decision to live the best life I can. I ended things because I didn't want to compromise what true happiness was anymore. There are no hard feelings and I will love Jeff until the day I die!"

The couple, who have been married since they were 19 years old, were able to end the relationship on good terms. The primary reason for the divorce was "mutual happiness." They have two children together, Jeffrey Jr., 23, and Jonia, 21.

Price, who is a seven-time Grammy nominee, plans to sing and write songs about her divorce on her upcoming album, "Sing, Pray, Love Vol. 2: Pray," according to United Press International. She wants to speak to other women who are going through or have been through something similar.

Earlier today, she posted a selfie to Instagram reflecting on this time in her life. "Quiet time," she wrote. "Time of reflection...Necessary. I'm good."
