Amanda Bynes made a rare public appearance at the Michael Costello and Style PR launch party for the fall 2015 capsule collection, Us Weekly reported. The former child actress looked great and flashed smiles for the cameras.

The 29-year-old looked healthy and happy as she walked from the event to her car, according to footage obtained by TMZ. She wore a white, off-the-shoulder long-sleeved mini dress. A slip underneath the crocheted design kept it modest, but Bynes' skin tone peaked through the pattern on the sleeves, and the back featured a deep-V and a short hemline. A pair of black pumps kept the outfit looking young and modern. Bynes finished the look with a sleek, straight hairstyle, sunglasses and a matte neutral lip color.

During the event, Bynes approached the pregnant "Hollyscoop" TV show host Diana Madison and rubbed her belly.

"Oh, my sister is about to give birth in a week!," Bynes gushed, according to Us Weekly's source. "She's having a baby girl."

Bynes' attorney David Esquibias said she was doing well in February, according to People. The actress battled mental health issues and substance abuse in the past.

"Amanda is doing much better from where she was months ago," a source told People. "She has her own apartment and is much happier. She and her parents are getting along and Amanda is clear-headed, more focused and has more independence."
