It hasn't even been a month since Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian separated after nine years together, but the two are trying to do what's best for the kids, so it makes sense that they were spotted for the first time together since the split on Thursday taking their children out to lunch. The estranged couple kept things civil when they met at the Beverly Hills Hotel with their kids Mason and Penelope, according to TMZ. It is unclear if Reign, their 7-month-old daughter, was there.

The 36-year-old "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star arrived in her Range Rover with the kids while Disick, 32, showed up in a new Mercedes Benz, according to E! News. After lunch, they left seperatly, but headed to Disick's Hollywood Hills home so the kids could spend some time with their dad.

Disick was spotted out with Mason as the two spent some quality time together at Barnes & Noble buying toys earlier in the week. They then had lunch at Rosti Tuscan Kitchen in Calabasas. Disick had not seen his children in almost a month since the whole cheating scandal started, so we can assume this meeting was more for him and the children than it was for him and Kardashian.

On Monday, Kardashian visited an L.A. office building which is filled with lawyers, specifically Laura Wasser, who represented her sisters Kim and Khloe in their divorces, TMZ reported.

Kardashian and Disick were never married, but considering they have three children together, she is seeking sole custody of the kids, a source told Us Weekly. She is determined to keep her kids protected from Disick's downward spiral, which has reportedly been fueled by alcohol and drugs.

Kardashian has been trying to put on a brave face throughout the whole ordeal, but sources have revealed that she is "miserable at the moment."
