A Seattle teenager thought she just unearthed cool photos of her dad jamming with Kurt Cobain back in 1987, but 19-year-old Maggie Poukkula actually uncovered photos from Nirvana's first gig, Rolling Stone reported.

"Pictures of my dad and Kurt Cobain playing together back in the day," Maggie wrote on Twitter last week, along with a snapshot of a photo strip with three pictures of her dad, Tony Poukkula, and the Nirvana front man.

The photos were taken in March 1987 during a basement show, Tony told local news station King 5. His high school band Black Ice would throw parties in his basement in Raymond, Wash., where local bands could play live gigs, when he was approached by a friend promoting Nirvana.

"He said 'do you mind if they come down to one of your parties and get their feet wet?' and I said 'yeah, anytime,'" he recalled. "And he said 'how about Friday?' and I said 'bring 'em on down, we're always there.'"

At the time the photos were taken, the Nirvana lineup included Cobain, bassist Krist Novoselic and drummer Aaron Burckhard, according to Rolling Stone. Tony jumped on the guitar and joined the band for two Led Zeppelin covers that night.

"I had no idea that those were during Nirvana's first concert," Poukkula told RS. "My dad showed me them a while back, but he never mentioned that's what was going on in the photos. I found out because of all the articles. I didn't realize it was such a historical thing. I thought they were just cool pictures of my dad and Kurt jamming together."
