Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj got into a bit of a heated exchange on Twitter on Wednesday, but the whole thing ended up being one big misunderstanding. Just to clear things up, though, Swift has publicly apologized to Minaj.

It all started when Minaj tweeted about her frustration over the fact that her "Anaconda" video wasn't nominated for the Video of The Year award at MTV's Video Music Awards. No names were mentioned, but for some reason, Swift took Minaj's point about "slim women" only being nominated as a jab towards her.

The two went back and forth, and Minaj even pointed out that nowhere in the tweet did she say Swift's name, but within the "feud" they did both make it clear that they love and support each other.

Now, since the feud got completely blown out of proportion, Swift has decided to take the high road and apologize to Minaj. "I thought I was being called out," she tweeted. "I missed the point, I misunderstood, then misspoke. I'm sorry, Nicki. @NICKIMINAJ."

Minaj quickly responded writing, "That means so much Taylor, thank you. @taylorswift13." Minaj even responded to a fan who said she was happy the two had made up. "I've always loved her," Minaj wrote. "Everyone makes mistakes. She gained so much more respect from me. Let's move on."
