Comedian George Lopez performed his classic "[F-ck that puto]" rant during a live show at Phoenix' Celebrity Theatre July 19 when discussing 2016 presidential candidate Donald Trump's controversial statements about Mexicans transporting drugs over their country's borders into the U.S., and being rapists, according to The Washington Post.

"This country is better with latinos in it," the celebrity shouted to cheers from the crowd at Phoenix' Celebrity Theatre during the show."Donald Trump, [F-ck] that puto. Donald Trump, [F--k] that puto. Donald Trump, [F--k] that puto. Donald Trump, [F--k] that puto. Donald Trump, [F--k] that puto. Donald Trump, [F--k] that puto. This country is better with latinos in it."

"When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best," the political hopeful said, according to The Washington Post. "They're not sending you. They're not sending you. They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people."

Trump responded to the controversy following his remarks on Fox News "Media Buzz" with host Howard Kurtz.

"I can never apologize for the truth," the political hopeful told the anchor. "I don't mind apologizing for things. But I can't apologize for the truth. I said tremendous crime is coming across. Everybody knows that's true. And it's happening all the time. So, why, when I mention, all of a sudden I'm a racist. I'm not a racist. I don't have a racist bone in my body."

George Lopez's famous phrase stems from the celebrity's Feb. 24, 2007 HBO Special, which was held in the same venue as Sunday's event, according to YouTube.
