She's been called the "baby-whisperer," which is perhaps partly why Kate Middleton and Prince William have decided to stay at her home in Bucklebury, Berkshire after Prince George was born. Now the proud grandma has given her daughter (and grandson!) a very special and useful gift that the Duchess will surely make use of now that she's in Anglesey, Wales.

The royal couple recently relocated to their island home while their Kensington Palace residence, Apartment 1A, continues undergoing renovations. And with Prince William back to work as a search-and-rescue pilot, the Duchess is likely making use of her newest gift, a baby manual given to her by Carole Middleton!

"[She's helped by leaving her a] baby bible," an insider told UK magazine Look. "Carole literally left them a whole list of instructions - everything from ideas on what to do if Prince George can't sleep, to tips on getting George to burp after a feed. It's basically a baby manual with reminders to help Kate if she is sleep-deprived. There are even pointers for William."

Though such pointers will likely come in handy, the royal couple seems to be taking to parenthood very well so far. Kate Middleton was recently spotted out grocery shopping at a local supermarket, looking casually beautiful and very slim and trim just one month after giving birth to her son. As for Prince William, he's gotten the hang of diaper-changing, and we can tell he will be a very involved dad.

"He kind of, he wriggles around quite a lot," Prince William said of his son in an interview with CNN. "And he doesn't want to go to sleep that much, which is a little bit of a problem. He's a little bit of a rascal, put it that way. So he either reminds me of my brother or me when I was younger. I'm not sure. But he's doing very well at the moment."

As for Kate Middleton, breastfeeding and a return to regular exercise have helped her shed her baby weight fairly quickly, though the down-to-earth Duchess doesn't seem too concerned about her post-baby body. Her focus seems to be purely on her family right now, and Look's insider reports that caring for the baby has helped bring her closer to her own mother.

"Unsurprisingly, as a result [of the stay in Berkshire], Kate and Carole are closer than ever," the insider confirmed. "The Duke and Duchess are so grateful, they plan to treat Kate's parents to a break in Paris in October to say thank you. But first they have the big move back to London to make. There's a lot on their plate at the moment but they're looking forward to this fresh start as a family."

Plans for decorating Apartment 1A have already been underway, and the Duke and Duchess have chosen a special jungle-themed nursery for their son. Even while in the final months of her pregnancy, Kate Middleton made plenty of shopping trips out to make sure she had everything she needed in preparation for the royal baby.
