Jennifer Lawrence got a tiny tattoo and the whole thing is hysterically scientifically incorrect. While at Comic-Con over the weekend, the 24-year-old "Hunger Games" actress showed off the skin-colored tattoo of the chemical symbol for water, H20, on her hand. For the first time ever, she explained the reasoning behind the tattoo and that the whole thing is actually a mistake!

"I call this tattoo a watered down rebellion because it's not like a real tattoo," she told HitFix. She explained that she got the tattoo with her co-star Liam Hemsworth and his family; everybody was getting one, so she felt she should too.

She got the tattoo around this time last year, according to the Daily Mail. It made its debut at a Paris fashion show on July 8.

"I was like, 'I'm always going to need to be hydrated. So I guess I should just get H20 on my hand,'" she continued to say. One tiny problem...the subscript 2 in the symbol is supposed to be low, not high.

"It's literally the most un-rebellious tattoo that anyone could ever get," she jokingly admitted about the tattoo that luckily for her is the color of a scar. "I should have Googled it before I got it tattooed on my body forever."

This wasn't the only thing people were noticing about Lawrence at Comic-Con this year. On Saturday at the event she wore a super sexy high-slit blue dress that had everybody looking! She also got to meet her idol, Bill Murray.
