Two flight-simulator technicians at the US Airways facility near Sky Harbor Airport got into an argument early Wednesday that led to a fatal stabbing, Phoenix police report.

One of the flight-simulator technicians stabbed the other with a sharp object, Phoenix Police Sgt. Vince Lewis said, according to USA Today. The victim, who remains unnamed, was transported to a local hospital where he later died.

The alleged attacker has been detained by the police, and Lewis reports that he is cooperating.

Authorities have yet to reveal any details about the argument or the names of either party involved in the incident. Furthermore, no charges have been filed, according to Inquisitr.

Since the stabbing occurred in an office hallway near the flight simulator area which isn't connected to the passenger terminals, normal airport operations weren't affected, airport officials said, according to NBC's Arizona news affiliate 12 News.

The area where the stabbing occurred will be blocked off, but the training facility will remain open as the investigation continues.
