Teenyboppers of the '90s rejoice! The two biggest boy bands of the decade announced they're putting their differences aside for the greater good—the Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC are teaming up to fight zombies in BSB Nick Carter's upcoming Syfy film, reported People.

"We thought it would be a really cool thing [to] have a bunch of boy band guys and people from our era act in an action-packed movie with zombies," Carter told Yahoo TV.

"And who doesn't love zombies?," *NSYNC's Joey Fatone chimed in.

The zombie/western, "Dead Seven," will feature Fatone, Carter and his fellow BSB member AJ McLean in major roles. The flick is being produced by the same company who brought the network success with the "Sharknado" franchise.

Carter, Fatone and McLean promoted the movie together at the San Diego Comic-Con over the weekend, finally putting rumors of the old boy band rivalry to rest in an interview with TooFab.

"There was never any kind of rivalry," McLean told Toofab, and Fatone nodded in agreement. "Him and I grew up in the same town together, Howie [Dorough] and Chris [Kirkpatrick] went to college together. The media just manifested and tried to force it. They're like 'same management, same label, there's gotta be something so let's make it.'"
