The Brown family celebrated a happy moment after months of tragedy, as Bobby Brown welcomed a new baby girl with wife Alicia Etheredge on Saturday, Entertainment Tonight reported. This is the couple's second child together.

Etheredge was admitted to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Friday, and doctors induced her into labor the next day. The newborn is yet to be named, according to USA Today.

Brown and Etheredge were married in 2012 and are already parents to their 5-year-old son Cassius, Us Weekly reported. Brown has four other children from previous relationships, including 22-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown, whom he shares with his late ex-wife Whitney Houston.

The newborn's birth is a bittersweet moment that comes amid months of tragedy in the wake of Bobbi Kristina's health problems.

Bobbi Kristina has been under medical care since she was found face-down, unresponsive in a bathtub in her Atlanta home in January, as previously reported by HNGN. Doctors placed her in a medically induced coma, and she's currently hospitalized at the Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, Ga., where her condition has made little to no progress.

Brown made several musical appearances since his daughter's hospitalization, and the singer spoke about his coping method to fans at the Soul Food Festival in Los Angeles, his first public appearance since the tragedy.

"I must tell y'all, this feels, this feels, this feels really, really, really, really good," he told the audience, according to Us Weekly. "You know, rough times are rough times. Hard times are hard times. I don't know what the hell I'm going through right now, but I'm giving it to God and letting him deal with it."
