Oakland County Judge Lisa Gorcyca released three siblings Friday who have spent two weeks in juvenile detention due to being held in contempt of court for refusing to meet with their estranged father.

The children were initially in court because of a divorce between their parents, which resulted in them refusing to have any contact with their father, claiming that he abused her, according to Examiner.com.

Gorcyca noted that there was no actual evidence of their mother being abused and that it was all heresay from the mother in order to alienate the children's father, accordng to Inquisitr.

She held the hearing on Friday, three days after news sources reported her June 24 decision to put the kids in Children's Village (the juvenile detention center).

At the behest of their father, the children will be removed from Children's Village and be sent to a summer camp, according to the Associated Press.

"The court finds that is in the children's best interests to grant the father's and the guardian ad litem's motion to allow the children to attend summer camp," Gorcyca said, referring to lawyers who represent the children.

It's unclear what will happen to the children after the summer camp ends.

"That's up to the judge," said Lisa Stern, an attorney for the mother.

It's possible that they may go straight back in juvenile detention, rather than being placed in the custody of one of their parents.
