Blizzard, the company behind the development of the world's most popular Massive multiplayer online role playing game (MMORPG) "World of Warcraft" has hinted that it will be announcing the next expansion to follow 2011's "Mists of Pandaria" at BlizzCon 2013.

During an interview with IGN at Gamescom, game director Tom Chilton discussed the upcoming 5.4 update patch to the game saying that it as the "final raid tier for Mists of Pandaria" and that "There will be another content patch to bridge the storyline between Mists of Pandaria and the next expansion."

Once he was pressed for more information on the upcoming expansion, Chilton simply said "Well, you should pay attention at BlizzCon. See what comes up."

This not-so-subtle confession is causing many to believe the company will unveil its next expansion at the conference on November 9 at the Anaheim Convention Center in California.

This would not be the first time the company has used its convention to unveil a new "World of Warcraft" expansion. "Wrath of the Lich King" was announced there in 2007, "Cataclysm" was revealed there in 2009 and "Mists of Pandaria" was announced in 2011. It would appear the company is trying to build a bit of a track record around unveiling its new expansions at the convention.

Patch 5.4: Siege of Orgrimmar, will be released to all "World of Warcraft" players on September 10. The patch will include a new season of gear, class changes, player vs. player updates as well as new battlefield updates. A full rundown of everything that 5.4 is planning can be found at the company's official website HERE.
