Lark Voorhies, known for her role as Lisa on the '90s teen series "Saved By The Bell," defended her music producer husband in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. The former star spoke out against her mother's allegations that hubby Jimmy Green was so forceful with her that she had to get a restraining order against him.

Voorhies' mother Patricia said she filed a restraining order against Green after he used gang signs during an argument with her, according to TMZ. But both Voorhies and Green denied that he was aggressive toward her mother in a joint interview with ET's Kevin Frazier.

"I mean not enough to get a restraining order," Green said. "I mean, no I wasn't aggressive. I was just being blunt and demanding."

"No, No," Voorhies said, interrupting her husband. "Powerfully spoken, basically."

When Frazier told Voorhies that Patricia said she feels like Green is taking advantage of her daughter, Voorhies immediately got defensive.

"Did she call you before I got here?" she asked. "No, he's not. We're selectively together for all the right reasons."

The couple stumbled over their words during the interview, but when Frazier asked Green what he hoped viewers would take away from their interview, his answer came across like a prepared statement.

"[I hope] they just understand that we're the same as any other couple that's out there that's in love," Green said, "trying to accomplish business together and it's not a scam."
