Why adapt only one of R.L. Stine's "Goosebumps" books when you can cram them all into one movie? That is exactly the premise behind Sony's newest "Goosebumps" project. The film will feature most of the creepy monsters that haunt Stine's books.

The clever premise of the movie features a young R.L. Stine who is trying to stop all of his creations from wreaking havoc on a small Maryland town. The trailer features Jack Black as Stine and Dylan Minnette and Odeya Rush as teenagers whom must face off against all of Stine's monstrous creations as they are magically unleashed on the real world.

The specific books that are mentioned in the trailer are "The Abominable Snowman of Pasadena" and "Revenge of the Lawn Gnomes." Stine himself is helping out with the movie and tells Coming Soon that the movies' "big bad" will be one of Stine's creepiest villains, Slappy the Dummy, a ventriloquist doll. The film is set for release on Oct. 16, just in time for Halloween!
