The Dark Knight and the Man of Steel are returning to Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con this weekend two years after it was announced that the super-powered duo would share the screen together in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice."

In an effort to further promote the film and its presence at Comic-Con, Warner Bros. is proudly displaying several cool images and props from the film. These include iconic Bat-gadgets, Batman's armored Batsuit and a few other awesome things that you can check out on Screen Rant.

Warner Bros. had previously displayed Ben Affleck's cape and cowl at Comic-Con 2014. This year marks the first public appearance of his mechanized battle suit and the handful of helpful crime fighting do-hickeys.

DC and Warner Bros. have a golden opportunity to leave a real lasting impression among fans at this year's Comic-Con as Marvel will not be present at the convention. That means fans should expect even more reveals from "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" and possibly even some new footage (fingers crossed) to drop sometime this weekend.

But what fans really want is some more information on the plot. With just eight months to go before the film hits theaters, no one is 100 percent sure who the movie's primary villain is. We know Jesse Eisenberg will be portraying Lex Luthor and it's not as if that character has the most pleasant of goals in mind. But rumors have run rampant that iconic Superman villain Doomsday will be making an appearance (possibly via General Zod?) in addition to other well-known DC characters.

"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" will debut on March 25, 2016.
