Footage of a physical altercation between employees at a Panera Bread in New York City made its way to the Internet on Wednesday afternoon.

The video, uploaded by YouTube user Midgarr, shows one of the restaurant's managers, a man, punching a female employee in the face. According to Gawker, the fight took place at a Panera Break on Park Avenue and 23rd Street.

A tipster, who allegedly recorded the video, told the site that the female employee quit her job mid-shift. After making a scene in the restaurant, the man in the video wearing a white shirt, who appears to be a manager, "threw her down a flight of stairs and out the front door for really no reason," the tipster told Gawker.

Upon re-entering the store, the two went at it again, which is what was captured and uploaded to YouTube.

A Panera Bread spokesperson responded to the Gawker report and said authorities are investigating the incident.

"Today there were reports of a physical altercation between two associates at our Park Avenue South bakery-cafe. We have a zero tolerance policy for violence and worked swiftly with authorities to investigate. The associates who were determined to be involved no longer work for Panera."
