It's a match made in cable news heaven.

Good Morning America's weekend weather anchor Ginger Zee is now engaged to boyfriend Ben Aaron of WNBC, after the husband-to-be got down on one knee outside of New York City's Lincoln Center, right by the fountain where they shared their first date.

"I had no idea!" 32-year-old Zee gushed on "Good Morning America" this Thursday. "It was 2:30 p.m.-I had workout clothes on and the construction crew working on the fountain burst into applause-so cute!"

Aaron, who Zee says "is the love of [her] life," concocted a sneaky way to propose by hiding the square-cut solitaire diamond ring in a box of Magnolia Bakery banana pudding. The famed dessert is one of the newly engaged couples' favorite sweets, and is also one of the first snacks they ate with one another.

"We had it on our first date, and actually meet at the fountain often after work," she said. "So meeting there and banana pudding are very normal. I couldn't even open the box, I was so shaky and crying with happiness."

Let's give Ginger one, big, collective, AWWWW.
