Warner Bros. will have a highly anticipated presence at San Diego Comic Con later this month where fans will be clamoring for sneak peeks at the studio's upcoming DC properties. To whet the appetites of comic book lovers everywhere, Entertainment Weekly has unveiled a handful of new photos from Zack Snyder's "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice."

Henry Cavill reprises his role as the last son of Krypton while Ben Affleck assumes the cape and cowl of Batman. The film will touch on the divisive reaction Superman's existence has elicited from humanity following the events in "Man of Steel." Some view Kal-El as Earth's protector while others believe he is a danger to mankind.

Affleck's Bruce Wayne/Batman initially falls into the latter category. The actor told EW more about his this new iteration of his character. "He's on the verge of being swallowed up by the anger and the rage that we see haunt his character in the other manifestations of it. But this guy is further down the line and has become more embittered and cynical."

Gal Gadot, who will be the first live action actress to portray Wonder Woman on the big screen, also gets in on the fun in "Dawn of Justice." It is unknown how her character comes into play in the film, but EW reports that she will be introduced as Diana Prince. She first meets Bruce Wayne at an elite social function though the two are already aware of one another's secret identities.

Other pictures reveal Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor (with hair!) and some shaded looks at Batman's anti-Superman gear.

"Batman V Super: Dawn of Justice" will hit theaters on March 25, 2016.
