Marc Jacobs accidentally posted a nude photo to his Instagram page and, even though he quickly realized his mistake and deleted it, some fans were quick to grab a screenshot.

On Monday night, the 50-year-old fashion designer posted a photo of his butt with the caption "It's yours to try!" according to Gawker.

Some people may be wondering if it is actually him in the photo since you can't see a face, but another recent, and fully clothed, selfie pretty much proves that it was. In the photo you can see the same red iPhone case and the same ring on Jacobs' finger.

Apparently, it was meant to be a direct message, not an actual post, according to NY Daily News. With 200,000 Instagram followers, it didn't really matter how quickly he deleted it because someone was bound to see it.

Since the accident, Jacobs has used his Instagram for more appropriate things, Fox News reports. Many images of models, including Winona Ryder, showing off his new Fall/Winter 2015 campaign were posted after the accidental nude selfie was taken down.

Jacobs has not commented on the incident.
