Ariana Grande closed out the the Gay Pride Parade this past weekend in New York City with an amazing and memorable performance.

She was the headliner for the 2015 Dance On The Pier concert on Sunday night, Daily Mail reports. Many other prominent performers, like Whitney Houston, Janet Jackson, Jennifer Lopez and Cher, have had the honor before, but this year was extra special considering the Supreme Court's very recent decision to legalize same-sex marriage nationwide.

"Make some noise if you're proud to be who you are," Ariana said while on stage, according to MTV News. "Make some noise if you're proud to love who you love. Make some noise if you're proud to be an American. Make some noise if you think the Supreme Court justices who voted against gay marriage should get their heads out of their f**king asses and join the goddamn celebration. Make some noise if you've got one less problem without them motherf***ers."

On Friday, the day of the Supreme Court's decision, Grande tweeted, "YAAAAAAS AMERICA (with purple heart emojis) LOVE WON. LOVE WINS. AND IT AL.WAYS. WILL. (I'm crying)."

The crowd went absolutely crazy over not only her words, but her entire performance on Sunday. The singer had just turned 22 on Friday.

"This has been one of the most exciting weekends of all of our lives-definitely my best birthday ever," she said to the crowd. "It was so nice of the Supreme Court and Obama to do that for me for my birthday present."

Ariana wore a black latex two-piece ensemble with thigh-high boots. Her brother, Frankie Grande, was there to introduce his little sister to the stage. He gave a heartwarming and inspiring speech about all that he's been through and how Ariana has helped him.

"This girl has taught me a lot about what it is to be proud," he said. "She has stood up for me publicly online because of gay hate and gay slurs. She has stood up for me and she stood up for all of you. She's a huge advocate for gay rights, she's a huge advocate for transgender rights in this country-and she taught all of us that this is the part where we say we don't want ya, we are stronger than we've been before. This is the part where we break free!"

Prior to the show, Ariana posted a promo for the concert to her Instagram. "See you tonight nyc!!! We've got a lot to celebrate #pride #lovewinsss," the caption read.

After her performance, she tweeted, "I love you nyc pride babes with all my heart!!! That was a dream. I love you."
