A stranger left a hateful, painfully devastating note under a Canadian family's home about their Autistic son, who the writer believes should be "euthanized" because of how "loud and disruptive" he is to the neighborhood.

The Begley family was deeply disturbed by the note left in their mailbox about their son, Maxwell. They showed the note to YouTube sensations turned rising musical act Lennon and Masey, who took to their official Twitter account to post the note. It wasn't soon before long when the photo went viral, and outrage spread across social media.

Local Canadian news organizations, as well as national media sites such as the Huffington Post picked up the family's story. The stranger's note sickened Maxwell's mother, and she couldn't believe someone would be so hateful.

"It made me sick to my stomach to think that somebody hated my son that much and they didn't even know him," Maxwell's mother, Karla Begley told TheStar.com. "But they just hated him because he was different. That's the only reason they had to hate him."

Maxwell, 13, has autism. Maxwell, his mother, and grandmother Brenda Millson live in Oshawa, Cananda where the boy reportedly loves to watch the movie Grease, jumping on the trampoline with the sprinkler on, and go-karts, according to TheStar.com.

Though Maxwell reportedly loves the attention he is receiving from the hate letter, his family has not told him about the note or about the contents within it.

"He doesn't know anything about the letter," Karla told TheStar.com. "He loves the attention, he thinks he's famous."

The letter has affected many people, including a neighbor, Julie Smith, who wants the writer of the hate note to be found.

"Everyone seemed rather appalled by it; one lady burst into tears. We didn't run into any suspicious characters," Smith told TheStar.com. "If we do find out, we can't be vigilantes, we have to call the police and let them deal with it."
