After hearing about the Supreme Court's decision to legalize gay marriage nationwide, Lena Dunham jumped on Twitter to not only express her pride and joy, but to hint at her boyfriend Jack Antonoff that it's time to propose.

Dunham had vowed to never get married until everyone could, and now that this is possible nationwide, the 29-year-old "Girls" star wasted no time. "Get on it, yo!" she tweeted to her boyfriend of three years, according to People.

She also made sure to express her excitement over the historic day as well. "Woke up to learn that love is free!" she wrote. "Thank you to all those who fought so hard to make this historic moment happen."

She then added, "Weddings are about to get a lot less boring," and "Let's use this vitory as a reminder to keep pushing for equality on every frontier. We have the power!"

The 31-year-old fun. guitarist and Bleachers frontman favorited Dunham's "hint" tweet, which was actually pretty obvious, according to Us Weekly. He also posted a celebratory tweet following the news as well.

"Just woke up to the news! Overwhelmed. JUNE 26th remember forever," he wrote. He then added, "gonna tweet something I never thought I would: !!!!!!!!!!!! USA USA USA USA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Dunham first opened up about her plan to not get married until gay marriage was legal in all 50 states while on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" in March.

"Well, it's something that...the idea of having a celebration that can't be fully shared among all the people in my life and all the people that we love just doesn't really feel like a celebration at all," she said. "So, until that's something that everyone can join into with no sense of being left out on any level, politically, emotionally, it's just not something that we're gonna do."
