Cristian de la Fuente and Roselyn Sanchez were set to co-host the Miss USA pageant on UniMas, but after Donald Trump's remarks against Latinos, the pair have canceled their appearances. This comes after news that singer J. Balvin pulled out as a performer and Univision Communications announced that it is ending its business relationship with Trump. De La Fuente and Sanchez both appear on Lifetime's "Devious Maids" and made statements denouncing Trump's stance on Latinos.

As a Latina and proud of my roots, culture and everything we have contributed to this nation, I have decided to cancel my participation as co-host of Miss USA," Sanchez wrote in Spanish on her Instagram. She continued: "It seems like a lie that in his announcement as a presidential candidate he would have that lack of judgement and decency. Mexicans, like all our Latino brothers have contributed positively to this great nation."

Sanchez's co-host, Cristian de la Fuente posted his own statement to his Facebook page: "Mr. Trump, As a #Latino I cannot work in an event associated with your name. The statements you made against Mexicans and immigrants show that you are ignorant. It is unacceptable to launch your presidential candidacy creating rhetoric of hatred and discrimination in calling Mexicans drug traffickers and rapists. It's a shame that such an important institution as #MissUSA is now in the hands of a clown."

Trump refuses to switch his position on the issue or apologize for his remarks saying, "I love Mexico but not the unfair trade deals that the U.S. so stupidly makes with them. Really bad for U.S. jobs, only good for Mexico."
