HNGN remembers the King Of Pop Michael Jackson on the sixth anniversary of his death with the music video to one of his most popular songs, "Thriller," which the Gary Ind., native released in 1982.

Jackson  evolved into one of the best dancers and performers of his time starting with the family quintet the Jackson 5 before launching a solo career.

Songs from the legendary celebrity's stellar career include 1969's "I Want You Back" and 1970's "ABC" and "I'll Be There." Other hits include 1971's "Ben," 1973's "Dancing Machine," 1979's "Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground)," "Don't Stop Till You Get Enough" and "Rock With You."

Jackson in 1983 put out the classic songs "Billie Jean," "Beat It," "Wanna Be Startin' Something," "Human Nature," "Pretty Young Thing" and "Thriller."

"I Just Can't Stop Loving You," "Bad," and "The Way You Make Me Feel," came out in 1987. "Man in the Mirror," "Dirty Diana," and "Smooth Criminal," highlighted 1988. The racial equality-themed track "Black or White" topped Michael Jackson's songs in 1991, and "Remember The Time" and "Heal The World" followed in 1992. There was also "Will You Be There" in 1993 and "You Are Not Alone" in 1995.

Jackson passed away June 29, 2009, according to CNN.com.
