Ford introduced a third prototype of its smart bikes called the MoDe:Flex, designed to break in two for easy transport in the trunk of your car, on the train or in the bus.

Intelligent features of the bike include an Apple Watch app that alerts the rider when a pothole is up ahead via vibrations in the handlebars. There is also a route planning app that allows riders to assess traffic congestion, weather, parking costs and fitness in making plans for their trip, according to Gizmodo.

Specs have not yet been revealed but based on its previous models like MoDe:Pro, it has a 200-watt motor and 9-amp-hour batteries, with a top pedal-aided speed of 25 km/h (16 m.p.h.). The handle bars also vibrate when a car is about to overtake you. It has a pedal assist mode that auto-adjusts based on your heart rate and other techie touches, Engadget reports.

The bike also has a "no sweat" mode. This calculates just how much effort you need to put in the pedals to get to your destination without exerting too much physical effort, The Verge reports.

Ford says the Flex is built for especially for bike enthusiasts.
