It's been four months since Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unresponsive at her home in Atlanta. But a source close to the family said the family refuses to give up, People reports.

"Krissi is breathing, but she cannot communicate," the source told People. "I think [Bobbi Kristina's grandmother] Cissy Houston said it best - that's she's in God's hands."

The family spends time with Bobbi Kristina at her room in an Atlanta rehab center, where they take turns reading, singing and talking to her.

"They just want her to feel that they are there by her side. They hold her hand a lot and pray with her too - even if she doesn't know that they are there," the source said.

Bobbi Kristina, an aspiring actress and the daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, has been under constant medical care since January 31, when she was found unresponsive face-down in a bathtub at her home, according to International Business Times. She was rushed to the Emory University Medical Center in Atlanta, where doctors immediately placed her in a medically induced coma. She was moved to the rehab center in March, and hasn't shown signs of improvement yet.

Her father, Bobby Brown, recently released a statement regarding the family's future plans for Bobbi Kristina's health. He said the family is seeking legal action.

"I am making decisions with [Whitney Houston's sister-in-law] Pat Houston and we are working together for the medical care of my daughter," he told ABC News. "Right now we are focused on Bobbi Kristina's medical prognosis and the criminal investigation. These are the priorities for us. Whoever had a hand in causing my daughter's injuries needs to be brought to justice."
