An email's instantaneous nature allows it to be sent in just a matter of milliseconds, and you cannot stop it from getting into the recipient's inbox. What if you sent the wrong email or emailed a person by mistake? Google has found an answer to this problem.

Gmail users don't need to worry about misdirected or inappropriate emails anymore, as a new feature has been added to undo a sent email.

Google's Gmail has created the option to cancel the delivery of an email within 30 seconds after hitting the send button as a way to safeguard its users.

Instead of searching through the Gmail Labs where the feature was previously available for several years, users can now find it in the General tab of the email settings. Those who are already using the Labs version of the service will have it automatically turned on. For other users, the option should appear in the settings over the next two weeks and can be enabled from the General tab in Gmail settings.

From the settings, you can choose between 5, 10, 20 and 30 second windows of unsendability and then hit "Save Changes" at the bottom to activate the feature, Gizmodo reported.
