Former "Saturday Night Live" star Maya Rudolph stopped by "Late Night With Seth Meyers" Monday night to promote her newest project, "The Spoils Before Dying." In the interview Rudolph tells the host she has been approached almost daily about what a shame it is she is no longer on SNL to give America what it wants: a Rachel Dolezal impression.

"I've been getting that thing kind of on a daily basis with Rachel Dolezal," Rudolph explained. "I remember Tina saying when Sarah Palin was happening, everyone kept saying, her doorman's like, 'You gotta be Sarah Palin!' But it happens to me every day, people are like, 'Oh, it's too bad, you haven't been on 'SNL' since 2007. You have to play this lady.'"

"The Bridesmaids" star then obliged Meyers and imitated an interview that Dolezal gave to a local Spokane ABC affillate. Rudolph and Meyers watch the interview together then recreated it, with Meyers pretending to be the reporter interviewing Dolezal.

"I think America really missed out," Rudolph said when she wrapped her stint as Dolezal. "I'm so glad I brought my Rachel Dolezal wig. I always keep it in my purse."
