After recently going public with their relationship, Richard Gere and his new girlfriend, Alejandra Silva, were spotted relaxing on vacation—and really enjoying each other's company.

On Monday, the 65-year-old "Pretty Woman" actor and the 32-year-old Spanish socialite were photographed getting cozy on a yacht in Italy, just off the coast of Acitrezza, according to the Daily Mail.

Silva wore a tiny purple bikini, which showed off her tanned and toned body—and Gere couldn't keep his eyes off the beauty!

Gere seemed hesitant to get in the water at first, but once he saw Silva frolicking in the gorgeous blue sea, he couldn't help but jump right in.

Silva is described as "a regular among Madrid's glitterati," and it wasn't until last week that the two made their first public appearance as a couple, reported Canada Journal.

They arrived together on the red carpet at the Taormina Film Festival in Sicily last Wednesday, but rumors were going around about them being a couple for a while now.

"They've been together for about a year now, but have been very private about it," said a friend of Silva's to Spain's ABC News. "Alejandra lives between Manhattan and Madrird, and Richard has already been to see her a few times. They've managed to keep it hidden from the press, but all their friends know."

Gere is currently in the middle of finalizing his divorce from his second wife, model and actress Carey Lowell, 54. The two were married for 12 years before separating in 2013.

His reps have declined to make any comments on the relationship.
