AMC just released the first look at "The Walking Dead" spin-off, "Fear The Walking Dead." There is not much to the 30-second promo, which shows actor Frank Dillane running for his life while trying to keep is clothes on. The trailer does not show exactly what he is running from, but it is safe to say the thing is a zombie, known as a "walker" in the "Walking Dead" world.

The show will take place in Los Angeles shortly after the outbreak of the virus that turns people into walkers.

The show will be produced by the same people who run "The Walking Dead," along with David Alpert who worked on popular FX series, "Sons of Anarchy."

The cast includes Kim Dickens of "Gone Girl," Cliff Curtis of "Life Free or Die Hard," Elizabeth Rodriguez of "Orange Is The New Black" and Mercedes Mason of "Quarantine 2: Terminal."

The companion series has already received a two-season pickup from AMC before the first episode even aired. The first season will premiere late this summer, and will consist of six one-hour episodes. The second season will air sometime in 2016, according to Entertainment Weekly.
