Novak Djokovic meets John Isner on Friday in the 2013 Cincinnati Masters quarterfinals.  The match starts at 1 p.m. ET.  Watch the live stream HERE.

World No. 1 Djokovic can make history if he wins the Cincinnati Masters.  Claiming the title would make the Serb the first player to ever achieve the Career Golden Masters, ATPWorldTour.com reports.  The Rookwood Cup is the last trophy Djokovic needs to have all nine ATP World Tour Masters 1000 trophies.

"The fact that I have an opportunity to make history in the sport that I'm playing that I love is incredible," Djokovic told ATPWorldTour.com earlier this week.  "This is just another extra motivation for me to try to do the best that I can and reach the, hopefully, final stages of this event.  Again, it's a long week and it's different conditions from what we played last week.  Working hard on the practice courts to get ready.  Hopefully, I can get the best out of this tournament."

Djokovic has played well all season, entering the tournament with a 42-7 record and three titles.  He's made it deep into tournaments, too, but ultimately fell late - a semifinals loss to Rafael Nadal in the Rogers Cup, another loss to Nadal in the French Open semifinals and a loss to Andy Murray in the Wimbledon final.

The Serb has bounced back, though, and has yet to drop a set at Cincinnati.  He defeated Juan Monaco in his opening round (7-5, 6-2), and then cruised past David Goffin (6-2, 6-0).

Across from Djokovic on Friday will be Isner, ranked No. 22 in the World.  Isner has two titles to his name this season, along with a 27-18 record.  He fell in the third round of this year's French Open and the second round at Wimbledon.

Isner earned a spot in the quarterfinals by going through Florian Mayer (6-3, 6-4), Richard Gasquet (7-6, 6-2) and Milos Raonic (7-6, 6-4).

Friday will be the fifth meeting between the two.  Djokovic has won all but one of their previous four matches, with their last head-to-head happening this year at the Davis Cup, where Djokovic won in three sets.
