Motorola has already launched two accessories for its much-hyped Moto X smartphone and adds a new one to the list named as Skip, a wearable NFC enabled device.

Normally phone accessories make it to the market after a new phone is launched, but Motorola is starting a new trend with its Moto X smartphone. The device offers a lot more than other smartphones in the market in terms of customization and with the release of three new products; Motorola wants its much-hyped smartphone to secure a prominent place in the mobile market.

The device, which was proudly marketed as "assembled in the USA", is yet to hit the store shelves but some of its accessories have already made it to the online store. Motorola has listed three devices on its website including two docks and a wearable accessory.

Motorola's new wearable product for Moto X named "Skip" is a NFC enabled accessory which unlocks the device screen with a tap of the finger. Skip can be clipped onto a pocket, shirt, collar or belt, which can unlock the Moto X's lockscreen without having to type the passcodes or complicated patterns. But before using Skip with Moto X, it must be paired following simple steps like any other NFC enabled device would require. Skip comes with a price tag of $19.99.

Besides the wearable accessory, Motorola also listed two docks on its website, a Navigation dock and a PowerDock for Moro X, both designed by Griffin. The Navigation Dock features a lever-action suction cup that fits tight to windows or dashboards and is adjustable for even the bulkiest of cases, the Illinois-based Google owned company said in product description. The consumer price for the conventional Navigation Dock is $39.95.

Motorola's PowerDock charges the Moto X smartphone via a micro USB power connector and works exceptionally fine with voice control feature. The PowerDock is priced the same as the Navigation Dock at $39.95. As we wait for the Moto X to be officially launched in the market, Motorola plans to keep customers entertained with its accessories. We can expect to see more of such gadgets till the Moto X smartphone actually hit the stores.
