Steve Irwin's legacy lives on in his 16-year-old daughter, Bindi, but his tendency toward khaki clothing won't. Bindi does take after her dad in many ways, but the 16-year-old conservationist is stepping out on her own glamorous path.

"I'll always feel most comfortable in khaki surrounded by animals, but it is really fun to try different styles," Bindi told Us Weekly. "I'm kind of stepping away from khaki!"

Bindi, her mother Terri and her 11-year-old brother Robert run Queensland's Australia Zoo, which her late father took over in the 1990s, so a change in clothes doesn't mean a change in beliefs. She also works with her parents' Wildlife Warriors organization, and hosts Bindi's Bootcamp, a wildlife-themed competition on Netflix.

Bindi's father died in 2006 at the age of 44 after a stingray attack. "I hope he'd be proud," Bindi said. "That's my end goal. He was like our living, breathing superhero. He was so passionate and clever."
