Starbucks announced Tuesday that it's rolled out its Mobile Order & Pay service in 21 more states and an additional 4,000 locations across the United States, reported Tech Crunch.

This feature eliminates the need for customers to stand in long lines, allowing them to order a latte and pay for it using the Starbucks mobile app and simply collect the order once they arrive at the store. The Starbucks app is only available to iPhone users for now, the company, however, revealed its plans to launch an app for Android users later this year.

The mobile ordering service first launched in Portland, Ore., last December before expanding throughout the Pacific Northwest this March, according to the Wall Street Journal.

With this expansion, Mobile Order & Pay will now be available at more than 4,000 outlets in 26 U.S. states. The service will be released elsewhere in the U.S., as well as in the U.K. and Canada, in the coming months, according to USA Today.

Starbucks officials said that mobile features helped them a great deal in increasing its customer base. The Seattle-based company currently has about 16 million active users of its mobile applications, and processes nearly 8 million mobile payment transactions every week, which account for approximately 19 percent of transactions at domestic outlets.
