Susan Sarandon and Jonathan Bricklin have reunited – maybe.

After calling it quits on their relationship in March, the two were spotted together again at the Georges Berges Gallery opening in New York on Thursday, Us Weekly reported. According to an onlooker, the rumored reunited couple were seen at the gallery for about an hour looking at art and seemed to have a "real bond between them."

The onlooker claimed that the Oscar-winning actress and her much beau "seemed very much in love" and added that Sarandon introduced Bricklin as her "boyfriend."

"Their relationship is pretty much the same as it always was, beyond the fact that they said they split up, they still hang out all the time and hook up," a source told Us Weekly.

The pair were reportedly also seen walking around New York City's SoHo area, Us Weekly reported.

In March, Bricklin, 37, and Sarandon, 68, split while shooting the new AOL documentary series "Connected," which follows six couples over a six-month period. New York Post's Page Six reported that the actress was unhappy and annoyed over her private life being filmed.

"It caused a lot of strain in the relationship," a source told the Post. "It's documented for the show that Susan breaks up with him because she doesn't want to be involved with the show. She says, 'You're a cast member, I'm not.'"

The couple first met on a road trip to Chile in early 2010, just one year after splitting from her partner of 23-years Tim Robbins. At the time, Bricklin, who is the co-founder of SPIN New York, released a statement regarding the breakup rumors.

"Susan and I have a lot of respect and great admiration for each other," Bricklin said in a statement obtained by PEOPLE. "It's impossible to concisely characterize our relationship, other than to say that it continues to evolve in new and unexpected ways. She supported my decision to be a part of AOL's 'Connected,' and making this series about my life has brought up real and somewhat unexplored issues, but it didn't break us up."

Shortly after ending their relationship, Bricklin told the Page Six that he will always have a soft spot for the actress, saying, "She's someone I love more than anyone I've ever been with, and that won't change."
