Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter are celebrating the birth of their first child.

The couple welcomed a baby boy, but has not released the son's name, according to Us Weekly.

"Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter are delighted to announce the arrival of their beautiful son," the "Sherlock" star's rep, Karon Maskill, told Us Weekly. "We would kindly ask everyone to respect the family's privacy during these next few precious weeks."

Cumberbatch and Hunter tied the knot in February, a month after they announced their pregnancy. The Oscar-nominated actor was "delighted and excited about becoming a dad," a source told Page Six in January.

The 38-year-old actor received his first Oscar-nomination earlier this year for his role in the WWII drama, "The Imitation Game." He will start production on Marvel's "Doctor Strange" in November as the title character.

Cumberbatch will next star in "Black Mass," starring Johnny Depp as the notorious criminal, Whitey Bulger, on Sept. 18.
