Fans of HBO's "The Leftovers" finally, after a nine month-long wait, have a taste of what season two is going to be like.

The network released the first teaser trailer for the Damon Lindelof-and-Tom Perrotta-created show on Friday afternoon. Most jarring is the change of setting from the first season.

Initially, the show focused on the fictitious New York town of Mapleton. In the upcoming season, Texas will be in the spotlight.

The video shows a line of cars on a dirt road. At the end it is revealed they are waiting to get into Jarden, Texas, a town of 9,261 people. Somehow, nobody there vanished in the departure, as noted in the sign at the town's entrance.

Outside of this 55-second clip and the context clues it provides, virtually nothing else about season two is known — not a single cast member from season one is shown in the video. The series is based on Perrotta's book of the same title, but the first season covered his entire story. The television program is now at the mercy of Lindelof. Any "Lost" fan will tell you this is both good and bad.
