Emilia Clarke has given Daenerys Targaryen an aura of her own and made the character immortal through her authentic portrayal and this is why it is natural for the actress to feel that the end of the show will shake up her identity. In a recent interview, she opened up about the end of the HBO series and also shed light on her career path and personal life.

Emilia Clarke seems to be bracing up for the end of "Game of Thrones" as her tryst with Daenerys Targaryen will be over after the final Season 8 which will air next year. The 30-year-old actress is ready to retire from her role but her fans need not despair as she will be seen on TV screens as well as silver screen for the next couple of years. She has confirmed that she would make it to Season 8 and her Han Solo movie is also filming.

Nevertheless, everyone will miss her as Khalessi and even Emilia Clarke is apprehensive about the end of such a popular character. She has admitted that the end of "Game of Thrones" will prove to be a shake-up of her identity and she will only understand the impact of the last seven years when she stops donning the robe, blonde wig and makeup to ride the dragons, claimed Rolling Stone.

In a recent interview to the magazine, Emilia Clarke also shed light on her personal life revealing that the last year has been pretty tough on her as she lost her father in 2016. She said that his death shook her up and she felt scared without him. She also expressed concern at the dangerous global political environment but is not afraid of being a feminist icon as she identifies with the philosophy.

It is worth mentioning here that Emilia Clarke began her journey as Daenerys Targaryen on "Game of Thrones" when she was just a struggling 23-year-old. And now that the show is inching closer towards the end, Clarke has definitely carved a niche for herself.
