Director Matt Reeves has confirmed that the actor is still his Batman and very much on board for the solo superhero flick, "The Batman." Fans need not get anxious about the speculations regarding Ben Affleck having been dropped from "The Batman" as director Matt Reeves has confirmed the involvement of the actor in the project. According to IGN, Reeves has said that Ben Affleck is very much on board. The director confirmed Affleck's involvement while promoting his upcoming movie "War of the Planet of the Apes" in London and this is definitely great news for the fans of the actor. Notably, rumors about Affleck leaving "The Batman" have been doing the rounds for quite some time after he refused to direct the movie. They gained even more steam after the actor's name was found missing from the press release of the film issued earlier this year. The only good thing about these developments was that Ben Affleck had welcomed Matt Reeves when the latter was declared as the director of "The Batman." Now Matt Reeves has declared Ben Affleck as the Caped Crusader and also said that they have begun work on "The Batman" ComicBook has learned. The director also shed light on his vision for the film and said that before plunging himself into the project bang on, he would try to find a personal way in. He also said that he related to the actors as it is about understanding something from an emotional angle. Reeves said that in his view, Caesar and Batman are similar as both are trying to do the right thing in an imperfect world. He emphasized that he related with the idea. It is worth mentioning here that the release date of "The Batman" has not been declared as yet but Ben Affleck will be seen as the Caped Crusader in "Justice League" at the end of this year.
