The Ebola virus has again terrorized the people in Congo after the World Health Organization just confirmed another second case of the virus. It was also reported that out of the 19 suspected and confirmed cases, 3 people already died.

Reports confirmed that WHO just released the information last Sunday after the organization as able to discover another and second case of Ebola. There was an outbreak of this virus in the Democratic Republic of Congo just this week and 17 were already taken as suspected cases.

Moreover, the health experts, as well as the WHO officials, are still trying to review the case of another 125 people who were also suspected to have been infected with the virus. Reuters reported that these people were reportedly linked to the same cases in the remote northeastern province of Bas-Uele located in the Northeastern Congo.

WHO even noted that the alarming part here is that more and more reported cases of deaths were made as a result of the Ebola outbreak. In which, a spokesperson of the organization added that three people have already died among the 19 cases.

It was also claimed by the reports also that the first victim was a male and the health experts were uncertain and skeptical as to how he was able to get the virus. But it can be recalled that in the previous outbreak of the Ebola virus, it came from direct contact with infected bush meat like the apes.

Because of that, Mail Online claimed that WHO and the medical experts were also considering the possibility that the cause was the same one as to the last outbreak. Apart from this new Ebola outbreak, West Africa just went through an epidemic last year which left more than 11, 300 fatalities and most of the reported deaths came from Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone.

But even if Congo has been plagued with different kinds of epidemic as time passes by, still, it succeeded in containing them without losing a lot of lives. It can be recalled that the Ebola virus was first detected here last 1976 and was found in the forest which also has the River Ebola.
